Our senior management team is responsible for ensuring that our operations, services and standards reflect the values we hold true to.
Roland was appointed Chairman of Savills in October 2014. He joined the firm in 1981 and during this time he was primarily responsible for the Office Agency Department.
He has advised numerous high profile clients in their search for office property in Ireland, including State Street for their new Dublin HQ. This was the largest city centre office transaction since the Citi HQ deal in 1999 – a deal in which Roland was also involved. More recently he secured the letting of city centre HQ’s to Facebook and Yahoo! He is also a past President of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.
Managing Director – Savills Ireland
Angus joined Hamilton Osborne King in February 1998 heading up the Property Management department. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in October 2000 and appointed Managing Director of Savills Commercial (Ireland) Ltd in October 2007.
Prior to taking up the Managing Director role Angus was responsible for all functions within the Property Management department including the management of many high profile properties on behalf of well known clients.
Prior to joining Savills Angus acted as Asset Manager for a variety of UK property companies including Peel Holdings and Stockbourne Plc. Angus has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Greenwich, a Diploma in Property Management from Bolton Street College of Technology and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, an Associate of the Society of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Irish Property and Facilities Managers Association.
Director of Retail
Larry joined Hamilton Osborne King in June 1990. Larry was promoted to Associate Director in April 1996 and then appointed to the Board of Directors in 1998. He was Chairman of the business from January 2010 to October 2014.
Larry acts as Chair of Savills European Retail Group, responsible for the delivery of Savills Retail Strategy in Continental Europe.
Larry has been one of the driving forces behind the growth of Savills and of course in particular the retail department, working on all major projects for the firm.
He is a Fellow of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute, an Associate of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, an Associate of the Society of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the British Council of Shopping Centres.
Director of Professional Services
Ray joined Savills Hamilton Osborne King in 2007 as Director and Joint Head of the Professional Services Department.
Prior to joining Savills Ray had been a Director of GVA Donal O'Buachalla. Ray has over 20 years experience in the Commercial Property Market and has extensive experience in the areas of valuations, rent reviews and CPO acquisitions.
Ray is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an Associate of the Society of Chartered Surveyors.
Finance and Operations Director
Peter joined Savills as Finance and Operations Director in 2015. He was appointed Company Secretary in November 2015.
Peter joined Savills from SoftCo, a global finance software solutions company, where he was the Group Finance Director. He previously worked at Eircom as Senior Vice President of Finance.
Peter is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Director of Cork Residential
Catherine joined Savills in November 1998, was appointed Associate in 2003 and Director in March 2007.
She heads up the Residential Department in Savills Cork overseeing the sales of Country Homes, Secondhand Homes, New Homes and Lettings in Cork City, County and the wider Munster region.
Catherine has been involved in the planning, design and sales of many prominent residential schemes over the last number of years.
Director of Retail, Asset Management and Landlord & Tenant
David has over 25 years experience and specialises in:
Landlord and Tenant negotiations and Dispute Resolution, Strategic Portfolio Reviews, Asset Stabilisation and Management, Enhancement and Development Initiatives
David has considerable retail experience and has been involved over the course of his career in most of the major shopping centres including Liffey Valley, Dundrum, Blanchardstown, Ilac, The Square and Jervis Shopping Centres.
David now concentrates on the Retail and Office sectors and clients include Bank of Ireland, Aviva, Castlethorn, Grosvenor Estates, Parker Green, Dubray Books and Golden Discs.
David specialises in rental analysis and safeguarding asset values and is a member of the Dispute Resolution Committee of SCSI.
Director of Investments
Domhnaill is a Director of Savills Commercial (Ireland) Ltd. Investment Team with responsibility for Ireland/UK property investment transactions and advice. He provides strategic advice to a broad mix of clients including developers, funds, banks and high net worth individuals who have an appetite for Irish and UK investment product.
Domhnaill works closely with the International Cross Border Investment Teams in sourcing product for Irish clients and closing deals. Recent Dublin based projects include The Orange Portfolio (sale), 7-8 Wilton Terrace (acquisition) and The Venus Portfolio (sale).
Domhnaill joined Hamilton Osborne King in 1997 and was appointed Director in 2003. Domhnaill is a Chartered Surveyor and has particular experience in development and investment projects having been involved in a diverse range of retail and mixed use projects throughout Ireland and the UK.
Director of Investments
Fergus is a Director of the investment team specialising in Irish and International market advice and transactions. He joined Hamilton Osborne King (now Savills) in 2005. Fergus was formerly a partner in Palmer McCormack and has over 20 years experience in the investment business.
Fergus provides strategic investment advice to private clients and syndicates, property companies and institutional investors, banks and receivers.
Fergus is responsible for Irish investment sales and acquisitions and through his experience, he has developed a working knowledge of legal, technical and taxation issues involved in investment property transactions.
Recent Dublin based projects include The Parks Portfolio (acquisition), Block R Spencer Dock (sale), One Spencer Dock (sale) and Project Jewel (acquisition).
Director of Investments
Dessie joined Savills Ireland from CBRE in April 2012 where he has taken up a role as an Associate Director within the Investment Department.
Dessie is involved in all aspects of the investment division focusing on disposals, acquisitions, asset management and consultancy.
Dessie is a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors.
Director of Industrial
Gavin joined Hamilton Osborne King in 1996 and was appointed Associate Director in 2001. 2006 saw the acquisition of Hamilton Osborne King by Savills. In 2008 Gavin was appointed as Director of Industrial.
Gavin is responsible for overseeing the Savills Industrial Team and the sale, letting and acquisition of industrial land and buildings in the greater Dublin area.
Gavin has worked closely with many of Ireland’s leading industrial developers, banks and institutions together with the main transport and logistics operators throughout the country.
Gavin is a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport.
Director of Professional Services
Gerry joined Hamilton Osborne King in 1994 and was appointed Associate in 2000. In 2004 Gerry was appointed as Director and Joint Head of the Professional Services Department. 2006 saw the acquisition of Hamilton Osborne King by Savills.
In conjunction with Ray Hanley, Gerry has responsibility for our Professional Services Department. The department undertakes valuations of all kinds of commercial / investment property and of commercial / residential development land the purpose of these valuations being for loan security, balance sheets, tax and other purposes.
Gerry has a lead role in all major portfolio valuations undertaken by the firm and key clients include the Allied Irish Property Fund, Irish Life Investment Managers, Hibernian Aviva Irish Property Fund & F & C Ireland Ltd. Gerry is also very active in the area of office and industrial rent reviews.
Prior to joining Savills Gerry worked with James Adam & Sons and prior to that Sherry Fitzgerald.
Director of Development, Agency & Consultancy
Mark joined the firm in May 1999, becoming a Statutory Director in 2005 and from 2006 onwards also a member of the Executive Management Board for Savills Ireland. Mark’s responsibilities within Savills Ireland straddles both Commercial & Residential services. Mark is Director of the overall Residential Division within Savills Ireland, which comprises the business units of leasing, sales, development land and asset management.
During his 15 year term within Savills, Mark has managed and run the Development Division, Headed the Retail Warehouse team while also working on some notable projects as Dundrum Town Centre and The Park, Carrickmines.
In 2006 Mark also oversaw our expansion into the UK Development Land market where in 2007 alone he sold / acquired over €500 million in development land sales. In more recent years, Mark as part of the service provided by his Development Team has taken charge of Savills Corporate Recovery Services.
Mark recently worked on managing and developing the landmark 2.60 ac landmark site Boland's Mill in Dublin Docklands.
Director - Head of Offices
Andrew joined Savills as a Director in 2014. He focuses on the development pipeline to include acquisitions.
Before joining Savills, Andrew was the Divisional Director of the Investment department within McGarrell Reilly with primary responsibility for the asset and property management of the investment portfolio which comprised primarily of commercial property in Dublin and Hamburg.
He is a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors and a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Director of Cork Commercial
Isobel joined the firm in 1989 and was appointed Director in 2005.
A Chartered surveyor Isobel works in the broad general practice of the firm, with particular emphasis in the area of professional services in Cork since 2000 having spent the previous 10 years in Dublin.

Peter joined the firm in 1993 and was made a Director in 2005. He specialises in the commercial sector including masterplanning and retail development.

Prior to this he was educated in Clongowes Wood College and has a BA in Economics from University College, Cork.
Director of Property Management
Roy was appointed Director of Savills in 2007 in the Property Management department and is the key client PM advisor for key clients such as Deka, Grant Thornton, Grosvenor, Hines & O’Callaghan Properties.
Roy has extensive experience in the management of complex commercial property and has assisted with the establishment of management company and service charge structures for new developments.
Roy is a qualified member of both The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The Society of Chartered Surveyors and he represents the Property Management industry on various SCSI working groups.
Director - Head of Commercial Property Management
Glenn Cran joined the Property Management department of Savills in March 2008, transferring from the London office which he joined in March 2006.
Glenn specialises in the management of distressed asset portfolios and has over 3 years' experience in advising on assets in Receivership.
Prior to joining Savills, Glenn was a senior consultant in Corporate Real Estate Consultancy at Ernst and Young, London. In this previous role he gained significant experience of advising public and private sector organisations on strategic issues relating to their property portfolios, with particular emphasis on facilities management.
Glenn developed a corporate strategy for Facilities Management Services for the Metropolitan Police Service Estate.
Director - Head of Property Management Accounts
Brian joined the firm in July 2013 as Head of Property Management Finance at Divisional Director level.
He is a Finance Executive with a significant track record working within Multinationals at executive and senior management level.
Brian’s industry experience has been gained within the FMCG, Service, Distribution & Healthcare business sectors.
Director of Hotels & Leisure
Tom Barrett who leads the Hotels and Leisure Team, brings over 20 years of hotel, property and business knowledge to the sector.
Tom gained his experience as an owner and operator, with domestic and global business, private and listed. From buying and selling small rural Irish hotels, to being Finance Director of a hotel group delivering annual profits of €125m, Tom understands all aspects of the hotel industry.
Tom is supported by a dedicated hotels team of eight, with skills ranging from property surveyors, to bankers and accountants. Their extensive knowledge of the hotel, property and finance sectors can provide you with expert advice on all aspects of the hotel and leisure industry.
Tom is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants.
Head of Savills (NI) Limited and Director of Investments
Ben joined Savills in October 2011 heading up the Belfast office and is the Director in charge of the Capital Markets team in Northern Ireland.
Ben has over 18 years’ experience in the commercial property market and specialises in providing sales, purchase and asset management advice to a focused client base including institutions, property companies and private investors.
Prior to Savills, Ben was a Director at CBRE UK Capital Markets division based in London.
Ben is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and an External Examiner for the BSc (Hons) PIAD & BSc (Hons) Real Estate course at Ulster University.
