The Brief
Savills was instructed at design stage to advise on design and specification and subsequently as joint letting agents.
The Client
Since its establishment in 1993, Ellier has earned an enviable reputation for creating high-quality developments noted for their style, imaginative design and highest standards of construction.
Our Solution
The south docks area has undergone significant development in recent years however, Hanover Reach came onto the market during the start of the downturn in the market. Facebook were seeking 1,000 sq.m. of office space to establish their European HQ. Savills fought off tough competition from other agents and secured a 1,067sq.m. letting to Facebook. Three months later they took up a further 800 sq.m. in the building. This letting attracted much media attention and heightened the buildings profile dramatically. Facebook have recently leased a further 1,105 sq.m.
How We Added Vaule
Savills ensured the building design and specification were appropriate for the location . We aggressively pursued Facebook as we expected their requirement would grow rapidly and the terms offered reflected this. This strategy worked in securing Facebook who now occupy half the building.
