Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is a major out of town shopping centre with a gross retail floor area of around 46,000 sq.m. The centre has over 100 tenants and approximately 3,000 free car parking spaces.

The Brief

Savills provide day to day property management of the centre involving tenant liaison, rent collection and procurement of all 3rd party suppliers thereby ensuring the centre performs to the best of its ability at a competitive cost. We are responsible for the operational performance of the centre and work closely with all tenants and contractors to deliver this requirement.

Our Solution

Our day to day property management role involves close liaison with all tenants to ensure they constantly receive a professional service that is reciprocated with timely rental payments. We also work alongside all our contractors and suppliers to achieve value for money through bulk purchasing of services at reduced cost without detriment to the service being provided. We have devised a management strategy that delivers the best results for our client and we continue to explore options to improve the service at every level. 


 

How We Added Value

Through constant review of the service charge operation we have managed to achieve and maintain significant reductions in the service charge costs, with a current rate that is now in the region of €8/sq.ft.  We have obtained approval from all tenants as to the economic value being provided which is a significant achievement for a centre of this size and age.
