Dundrum Town Centre
Dundrum has established itself as Ireland’s premier shopping centre since it opened in March 2005. The scheme which includes 120 shops, 37 restaurants, 12 screen 2,500 seat cinema, 200 seat theatre and 3,400 parking spaces attracted over 19 m visitors in 2009.
The Brief
Savills was appointed joint letting agents in 2002 with a remit to secure and attract leading anchor tenants to the scheme such as House of Fraser, M&S and Harvey Nichols and to also deliver a high profile and leading tenant mix of international fashion brands and restaurants. Our instruction also includes the ongoing asset management of the scheme via unit re-lettings and the first series of rent reviews.

The Savills team led by Larry Brennan undertook an ambitious marketing campaign targeting leading international retailers, many of whom were new to the Irish market. Our intention was and is to this day to deliver an exclusive and premium retail mix largely via direct marketing to specific retailers and or their retained agents
How We Added Vaule
Savills successfully delivered an outstanding tenant mix with over 20 first time entrants into the Irish market including House of Fraser, Harvey Nichols, Hugo Boss, Furla & Massimo Dutti, when the scheme opened.
Since then Savills has continued to develop the tenant mix with recent flagship lettings to Gap, Hamley’s, H&M Kids and Fat Face whilst also increasing the rental levels throughout the scheme.
