The Brief
Savills was instructed by KBC Asset Management, as lessees in the building, to act on their behalf in respect of rent review negotiations, the review date being 13 December 2006.

Our Solution
On behalf of KBC Asset Management, Savills entered into negotiations with the landlord Dublin City Council following service of their rent review notice. As a negotiated settlement could not be reached, the matter was referred to arbitration. Savills prepared a Precise of Evidence detailing our opinion of rental value supported by relevant commentary and comparisons. Subsequently we gave Oral Evidence at the arbitration hearing.
How We Added Value
Throughout the process we updated and advised the client in respect of the best course of action to take. The final course of action taken, namely to have the matter proceed to third party and the preparation and giving of evidence resulted in a positive outcome from our clients perspective.
