Leading active clothing, equipment and accessories retailer Fat Face has secured a shop on one of Dublin’s prime retail thoroughfares - Henry Street. Fat Face bid against three other multinational retailers to secure the lease on 45 Henry Street which is located adjacent to some of the most successful retailers on the street including A-Wear, Dunnes, Arnotts, Boots and Pull & Bear.

The shop extends to 197 sq.m. on ground floor and boasts excellent street frontage of 9.1m. Fat Face will pay a rent in the order of €350,000 per annum.

Fat Face competed with top international retailers for this unit which proves their belief in the strength of Henry Street as the leading fashion retail destination in the city”.

Fat Face is yet another boost to the area which saw recent signings of Forever 21 and New Look in Jervis making this area THE retail fashion destination in the city ” he says.

This will be the fourth Fat Face outlet in Dublin adding to the units in Exchequer Street, Dundrum and Dublin Airport. Fat Face was founded in 1988 by two ski fanatics who started by selling printed sweatshirts and fleeces out of their rucksacks in the Alps in order to fund their ski-ing addiction. The brand has grown significantly and has 12 franchise stores in the Middle East, Singapore and Asia as well as fully owned stores in France, UK and Ireland.
