The Jervis Shopping Centre opened in 1996 and extends to 37,000 sq.m. The centre was originally anchored by Debenhams, M and S and Tesco, and boasts 750 Car Parking spaces. The property is strategically located on Mary /Henry Street, one of Irelands busiest high streets

The Brief

Savills was appointed to pre let the entire centre, which was successfully achieved. We were then also charged with creating ongoing asset gain, improving tenant mix, to provide future development advice and the ongoing asset management and re letting of units.

Our Solution

Our solution was to target new entrants in addition to strong national retailers. We coordinated unit design to suit the large UK chains. We were subsequently able to use these designs to attract a host of new entrants into the Irish market, such as Bershka, Stradivarius, and recently Forever 21.

In addition our rent review team, has conducted record breaking reviews within the scheme. This has further strengthened the level of return for our client.

We added value to the development by attracting high quality cutting edge brands on excellent rental terms while not compromising on the quality of covenant and maintaining the Investment value of the asset.
